The central feature found in many of these slots. The basic premise is very simple, and automatically favours the player. Every time a winning combination is created, the symbols pop and give way to two new symbols. In this manner, it works much like cascading symbols, giving chances to win more and more as the combinations form up anew.
This mechanic was originally added to improve the PoPWins functionality even further. But what does it do? Simply put, ZapReel places an additional horizontal reel above the mainframe. Different rewards land on this reel, activating whenever applicable wins hit the right reels.
- MultiPop
Building on the success of the previous mechanics, this one functions similarly to PoPWins, but adds in a multiplier to all replacement symbols. And if these keep popping in several times during the same round, the multiplier increases with one for each winning combination.
In this special mechanic we once again use the winning combinations to enhance the gameplay even further. This time around the symbols stick to their place, and the reel height is increased with one. All non-winning symbols are removed, and this repeats as long as new winning combinations are formed. Naturally, the original combination only counts once.
