The fact is, it’s the only major casino table game that needs to actually be played against the house! Where could the use of a live dealer be more beneficial to online casino gaming than in this game?

What makes it so special?

Still, even by this firm’s lofty standards, the Quantum series has made a huge impression on players.
It was perhaps the first (perhaps the only) successful attempt to make timeless classics like Roulette even more enjoyable – they took advantage of what the technology had to offer, and applied it brilliantly. After all, early 20th century casinos didn’t have RNGs to help make their games more interesting!
Even with these extra multipliers added, base play remains straightforward in the best way possible. Standard Blackjack rules apply, with the following key differences:
- For each hand, 3 cards in the deck are randomly selected to include win multipliers up to 10x
- If a player is dealt a card with a win multiplier and wins the hand, the win amount is multiplied by the multiplier value
- Multipliers are multiplicatively additive. In other words, if a player wins a hand with three 10x multiplier cards in their hand, the payout will be multiplied by 1,000!
- To balance out these advantages, one player disadvantage has been added as well: if the dealer busts on three cards, the round is considered a push, rather than a win. (Note: this happens very often, so players shouldn’t underestimate its importance!)
Aside from these points, anyone who has played blackjack before will find themselves right at home here. Player blackjack pays 3:2. Of course, the fact that three card dealer busts count as pushes means that standard strategic approaches will have to be refined for use here. But that seems like a small price to pay.
Perhaps best of all, the design team has successfully added in multipliers without sacrificing overall RTP! This title’s main hand RTP remains absolutely stellar at 99.47%.
Even with new titles and new casinos constantly making a big splash it’s worth remembering that newer is not always better. Quantum Blackjack, as well as its sister offerings from Playtech, prove that point better than we ever could!
