Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation shares that its PROLINE bettors fancy the Toronto Raptors’ chances of doing well this season. According to the Crown agency, over 95% of the wagered money is on the team to record over 36.5 regular-season wins. Last year, the team finished 41-41 before losing to the Chicago Bull in their single elimination play-in match.
OLG is a state-run agency that offers gambling and sports betting in responsible manner while also returning 100% of its profits to Ontario. Via its PROLINE brand, the Crown corporation offers legal sports betting at retail locations across the province. Its sports wagering brand is also available online on OLG.ca under the PROLINE+ tab.
Ontarians Place Their Money on PROLINE
As per latest OLG data, the Milwaukee Buck is the bettorsā top choice to win the title, followed by Atlanta Oklahoma City, Minnesota and Gold State. Meanwhile, Dallas star Luka Doncic is the wagering favourite to win this yearās MVP award. Others in the category include Boston’s Jayson Tatum, Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo and Hamilton’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Switching to the NFF, last week, the Minnesota Vikings won 22-17 against the San Francisco 49ers, and 24% of the money correctly guessed the Vikingsā win on the moneyline. However, around 77% of the money was on the 49ers winning by 6.5 or more points. And approximately 12% of the Ontario bettors correctly predicted the under 41.5 total points.
On Sunday, Philadelphia won 31-17 against the Miami Dolphis, and 42% of the punters had the Eagles on the moneyline. Also, 38% of bettors correctly had the Eagles winning by 3.5 or more points but only 20% had the game under 53.5 total points. Meanwhile, 83% of the bets were on Kansas City Chiefs to win in the match-up with Los Angeles Charges which ended 31-17.
Some highlights from last week, include a PROLINE player getting a CA$2,945 payout from a CA$5 bet on a seven-leg NFL moneyline parlay. Another won CA$9,269 from CA$20 wager on an eight-leg MLS parlay while a third took home an CA$11,335 payout from a CA$24 bet on an eight-leg NHL parlay. Another bettor claimed CA$12,945 from a CA$100 wager on NFL moneyline.
