Early this month, Loto-Québec launched a brand-new campaign, aimed to promote how its gaming entertainment offerings are more than just casino experiences. The campaign is titled “We’re All Play”, and it features a one-minute-long spot which showcases the premium amenities of the Crown corporation’s land-based casino properties across the province of Quebec.
Loto-Québec is a state-run Crown corporation that is responsible for overseeing and conducting all regulated casino and lottery offerings in the province of Quebec. It operates several brick-and-mortar gaming amenities across the province, as well as the only legal online platform that offers online gaming and lottery products – lotoquebec.com. All of its proceeds are reinvested into the province.
A Minute Long Spot
“We’re All Play” is developed and brought to life by the Crown agency’s partner Cossette. According to Jessica Fecteau, Art Director for the Crown, its purpose is to promote the corporation’s exceptional casino entertainment offerings. She adds that the spot demonstrates how the casino properties can be more than just a venue where individuals go to gamble.
Ms. Fecteau continued by saying, that besides a wide variety of games, the Crown’s gaming establishments also offer top-notch dining facilities, riveting shows, theatres, bars, nightclubs, dance floors and DJs. She noted that it was important for the Crown to highlight the whole immersive experience so that it could better reflect on the agency’s true essence.
The spot is a minute-long video that shows three individuals who escape from the dull daily routing to one of excitement at a casino. The three characters are elegantly dressed and arrive at the venue in a spectacular fashion, including skydiving or driving a luxurious sports car. Then, the video demonstrates gives people a glimpse of the casinos’ fine dinners and entertainment opportunities.
Lastly, Ms. Fecteau commented that the campaign advertises how people can go on a night out at a casino and have a tremendous experience. She explained that the Crown had to pick a grandiose way to live up to its hype. The ad started airing earlier this month on TV, OOH, online and on social media. It is also displayed at the Crown’s land-based properties.
Extending Scientific Games Collab
Just recently, Loto-Québec provided some more intriguing news to its many lottery fans. The Crown corporation inked a brand-new agreement with its long-term partner, Scientific Games. The new partnership means, that the Crown has chosen the supplier as its main provider of instant games, and it will run for the next five years. The two have been partners for the last 50 years.
Since they first started to work together, the gaming supplier has developed and released more than 4,500 instant games for the Crown agency. And most recently the two managed to win a Gutenberg Award for their Folie des Plantes or Plant Madness instant game at the 40th Annual Gala Gutenberg. The game is produced entirely on 100% recyclable paper and uses water-based inks.
