The poker master and popular commentator Nick Schulman is the player, who managed to take down the $50,000 Super High Roller, announced to be the highest buy-in event on the schedule of 2017 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open championship.
The long-anticipated event attracted some of the top poker players, who wanted to play it big. The number of players was only 19, but all of them were poker professionals with rich careers. But the champion is only one and that is Nick Schulman, who was crowned yesterday, 9th August.
It is important to note that Schulman is no stranger to the poker tables. The player cashed in enough times to generate the solid amount of around $9 million from poker tournaments. Besides the jealous worthy bankroll, the player managed also to add not one, but two World Series of Poker gold bracelets to his collection of trophies.
Talking about his experience at WSOP poker table it is worth to mention that he became the youngest player at that time, who conquered World Poker tour title. Schulman seems to be unstoppable, as he managed to climb the ladder of success in the $50,000 Super High Roller, bagging a cash prize of $440,000.
The tournament drew a field of poker heavyweights and former winners of various reputable championships, who were competing for a fair share of the guaranteed prize pool, which was as high as $1,000,000.
The player entered the final day of the two-day high roller event as the chip leader, gaining the upper hand over his 5 remaining opponents. Having in mind that only 4 players would be cashed in, all the players were fiercely struggling to enter the scoop a prize. Unfortunately, it Bryn Kenney was only a close shave from pocketing some cash, but he was eliminated in 5th place and he left home empty-handed.
The heads-up battle started with Nick Schulman holding a bigger stack of chips than his opponent Jake Schindler, who appeared to be a hardy player. The intense two-handed match concluded in Schulman’s [Ad][5h] prevailing over Schindler’s [Ks][10s] on a board of [7d][7s][3h][8c][Ac]. The pair of aces secured the victory for Schulman. Schindler collected $260,000 for his runner-up finish.
The other two players, who managed to scoop a cash prize from the event are Ivan Luca, who managed to finish in 4th place with $120,000, and Rainer Kempe, who took the 3rd place and $180,000 in cash. The event kicked off on 8th August at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, while the 2017 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open is still under way, announcing the name of the champion on 15th August.
