Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has revealed that the Lotto Max grand jackpot has been won by two Burlington best friends. Chelsea Prince and Mercy Roldan are the two lucky ladies, who have been playing the lottery together for a long time, and their luck has finally paid off. The two friends will have to share the CA$15.2 million prize.
Lottery games are still quite popular in Canada, with Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49 being one of the most preferred draw-based options. Every year millions of dollars are being awarded to lottery players by the provinceās lotto regulators and in this case the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. Ms. Prince and Ms. Roldan, best friends from Burlington are the latest to join the lotto millionaires club. The pair has been playing the lottery together for eight years now and after the April 13, Lotto Max draw their luck has finally paid off. The two will have the cool task of sharing between themselves the hefty jackpot of CA$15.2 million.
Ms. Prince explained that she was the one to check the ticket on the Crown agencyās official lottery app, and when she saw the āBig Winnerā text she started shaking. She shared her plans to buy a new property for her, and Ms. Roldan plans to use the money for the childrenās education. And in order to celebrate the win, the pair will go on a trip together sometime in the future.
Quebec Winner
Quebec has also most recently found another lotto multimillionaire as Liliane Fortin from Capitale- Nationale has been drawn as the winner of the other half of the April 13 Lotto Max jackpot accumulating CA$15,231,359. Ms. Fortin said that her ticket online at lotoquebec.com and to this date is the biggest lotto prize in the province won online.
In order to comply with the social distancing rules, the winner was interviewed in an online call by Loto-QuƩbec representatives. Ms. Fortin shared her thoughts on this amazing occasion and shared some of her plans for the big prize. Her intention is to wait a little bit before making any big decision on the money.
