Lottery winnings have the port to change people’s lives and make rags to riches stories seem like something that could happen to anyone. There are players willing to make their way to the lottery prize claim office as soon as they find out that they had won, while there are also individuals that take weeks to claim their prizes, sometimes never to bag it at all.
Loto-Quebec still anticipates the winners of several substantial cash prizes to contact the lottery corporation and bag them. The cash prize that is about to expire in about a month is a Lotto 6/49 one that amounts to CA$236,860.
Whoever is in possession of the ticket has until June 25, 2019 to claim their prize. Last summer was a lucky one for the ticket purchased in the Chaudière-Appalaches (MRC de la Nouvelle-Beauce) area and the individual who purchased it had probably contemplated the particular numbers for quite some time.
Lotto Jackpots Wait for Their Winners
The numbers drawn on the lucky date were 08, 11, 31, 36, 41, 45, plus the bonus one 40, but the player managed to match only five of them. The autumn months were also generous to the province, evident by the unclaimed lottery prizes that would expire around that time of the year.
September 12 will be the last chance for someone to bag a CA$1 million with their Lotto 6/49 ticket. The guaranteed prize could be claimed solely by the ticket which has the number 71803182-01 printed on it. As for the winner, they made their lucky purchase in the Montérégie (MRC de Brome-Missisquoi) region. Only days later another CA$1-million Maxmillions prize is about to see its expiry date.
September 28, 2018 saw a fortunate draw for a ticket purchased in the Montérégie (Greater Longueuil) area. The third CA$1-million prize is once again a Lotto MAX Maxmillions one this time with a draw date October 26, 2018. Loto-Quebec is obligated to wait 52 weeks before it adds the lottery prize back to the prize pool in case nobody claims it. This particular ticket has the numbers 02, 04, 12, 24, 28, 44, 47 printed on it and the purchase took place in the Lanaudière (Terrebonne) region.
Players have 12 Months to Claim Them
As it was confirmed by the lottery corporation, there is a fourth CA$1-million prize which is a more recent one. March 20, 2019 saw a regular Lotto 6/49 draw that highlighted one ticket purchased in the Montréal (Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension) region. It has the number 74604614-01 printed on it and expiry date coming next spring.
This autumn is also going to witness the last chance of winning a CA$333,333.40 slice of the Lotto MAX Maxmillions share. October 26, 2018 saw a draw highlighting the numbers 12, 15, 26, 32, 39, 40, 43 which was a number combination shared by three lottery tickets.
Two of the players were quick to bag their slice of the million-dollar prize, but there is still a Quebecois yet to claim their third of the overall prize. Once their expiry date comes, said prizes would be added to the prize pool for bonus payouts and benefit more players willing to claim them. Loto-Quebec has lottery prize claim offices in Quebec and Montreal.
