One of Canada’s leading brick-and-mortar gambling operators, Great Canadian Entertainment has most recently announced the rebranding of its Hard Rock Casino Vancouver. Starting from December 2023, the gaming location will be known as Great Canadian Casino Vancouver. Its announcement comes after the transformation of Casino Woodbine into Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto.
Established back in 1982, GCE is a top gaming and hospitality corporation which touts a portfolio of 25 renowned gaming, entertainment, and hospitality locations in in Ontario, British Columbia, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Its sites have over one million square gaming space, approximately 19,000 slots, 650 live table games, and more than 60 dining amenities.
Coming This December
After rebranding, the casino will be one of the company’s flagship locations, demonstrating the highest standards of gaming, entertainment, and service. As part of the transformation, the property will launch the exciting Gordon Ramsey Burger in the winter, and the venue will be curated by the world-renowned Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay himself
The operator also shared that the revamped casino will feature a diverse selection of games, from classic table games to the newest and most innovative slots and some brand-new high-limit private gaming rooms. Meanwhile, The Theatre will hold a number of thrilling performances, from a diverse range of talents who will entertain guests.
Matthew Anfinson, Chief Executive Officer of the gambling conglomerate noted that as the company sets off on the exciting transformation to Great Canadian Casino Vancouver, it will enter a new age of entertainment. He believes the collaboration with Chef Gordon Ramsey and Live Nation Canada will bring unrivalled culinary and entertainment value to the corporation’s patrons.
Earlier this year, the gaming leader inked its partnership with Live Nation Canada. As part of the newest agreement, Live Nation Canada will become the exclusive booking agent and both parties will put efforts together to promote upcoming events. It was the first of this kind of collaboration in the country and will certainly bring more excitement to the operator’s guests.
Launching the Largest Casino Floor in Canada
It is also worth noting that in June 2023, Great Canadian Entertainment opened its Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto in Ontario. The 328,000-square-foot property gaming location is now the largest casino in the country. It is equipped with 4,800 slot machines, 145 live table games, VIP rooms and sports betting terminals. The resort cost approximately CA$1 billion.
In addition to its extraordinary gambling, hospitality, and entertainment amenities, the resort also offers a selection of premium stores and dining options for guests, including grab-and-go diners. It was projected by the operator that the new resort will generate CA$500 million in economic proceeds to the province, and employment for nearly 2,000 staff members.
