Casino Rama Resort is further upping its live entertainment factor, as the First Nations establishment announced two concerts for the end of 2023. The two news shows will be in November and December with popular rapper and actor Ludacris and disco living legend Boney M. along with Liz Mitchell set to light up the stage.
Located at 5899 Rama Rd, Orillia in Ontario, Casino Rama is the only First Nations resort casino in the province. It is famous for its exclusive and premium world-class sporting events, entertainment shows, and TV productions. By adding more exciting shows, the property is further solidifying its reputation as one of the leading entertainment locations in Ontario.
Details on the New Shows
The renowned rapper Ludacris is set to perform on Saturday, 11, 2023, at exactly 8 p.m., while doors for the event open at 7 p.m. The international artist has sold over 24 million albums around the world with his hit singles such as Stand Up,” “Get Back,” “Southern Hospitality,” “Number One Spot,” and more. Tickets start at CA$69 and vary all the way up to CA$119.
Then on Friday, December 8, 2023, crowds at the casino will be entertained by Boney M. and Liz Mitchell who was the original lead singer of the disco band. Their show begins at 9 p.m. while the doors open an hour earlier. They will sing some of their greatest hits such as “Rasputin,” “Oh My Lord,” and “Rivers of Babylon.” Tickets for this concert vary between CA$40 and CA$85.
Those who plan on attending the concerts will be glad to learn that the general public sale of the tickets has already started on Saturday, July 15, 2023, and tickets can now be purchased online. The casino reminds everyone that admissions for its concerts can only be purchased via Ticketmaster, which is an authorized seller. Prices include tax but not applicable service fees.
Patrons should be also mindful that there is a ticket limit of six per customer. In addition to that, clients are reminded that it is important to abide by the published ticket limits, as Ticketmaster may cancel orders that exceed the limit without notice. Duplicate orders with the same billing address or credit card may also be cancelled at Ticketmaster’s discretion.
Over the years, the casino has hosted some impressive concerts and spectacles from various talented artists. For instance, in April 2023, Warrant, Quiet Riot and Helix took over its stage. Then in May it welcomed the Italian Celentano Tribute Show, followed by Chris Janson, Starship as well as Collective Soul in June 2023.
Fundraising for a Local Hospital
Last week, Casino Rama Resort also announced that it will be hosting Cirque Under the Stars to raise funds for Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation. The gala event be taking place on November 18, 2023, at the property’s entertainment centre. In the last 21 years of annual events, the Soldiers’ Annual Gala has generated more than CA$1.5 million
