The wait is over, as Canada’s largest casino floor is on schedule to launch operations next week, reported Great Canadian Entertainment. In a press release, the operator revealed that its CA$1 billion Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto will kick off work on June 20, 2023. It is believed that the new property will completely revolutionize the city’s entertainment sector.
Since its inception in 1982, Great Canadian Entertainment has been one of Canada’s leading operators of land-based gaming amenities. Currently, it runs a total of 25 gaming and hospitality sites in Ontario, British Columbia, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. It is able to support over 1,400 charitable and non-profit organizations across the country under its Proud program.
Opening Next Week
Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto will be the company’s newest and largest casino resort across the Great White North. The operator informed the property will launch at 5:00 p.m. on June 20, 2023. It stretches over 328,000 square feet of gaming space, geared up with 4,800 slots and 145 table games making it the largest gaming floor across the country.
However, its gaming entertainment does not end here, as it also boasts exclusive VIP rooms, and cutting-edge sports betting kiosks providing an experience like no other. Located near the interchange of Highways 401 and 427 and in close proximity to Woodbine Racetrack and will also feature a 400-room hotel, a 5,000-person live entertainment venue, and a selection of on-site dining amenities.
CEO of the gaming operator, Matthew Anfinson, said the company was pleased to announce that the new casino will open its doors for patrons next week. He explained that the new property impresses with attention to detail, state-of-the-art services, and commitment to exceptional guest experiences. He said the new resort will be a game-changer for entertainment in Toronto.
Similar to its other gaming amenities, in the new one, the company will continue to promote responsible play, as it will feature a PlaySmart Centre on its gaming floor. There, patrons will be able to utilize engaging interactive tools and valuable responsible gambling resources. Lastly, the company said Casino Woodbine will continue work until the new one opens.
