Kambi Group has another important deal to supply its technology in New York State, as an agreement with a casino in Waterloo has been revealed. The leading provider of sports betting tech will now incorporate its innovative on-property sportsbook solution to del Lago Resort & Casino, thus bolstering the sports wagering experience for the property’s many patrons.
Located at 1133 NY-414, Waterloo, New York, del Lago Resort & Casino is owned and overseen by Churchill Downs Incorporated. Its state-of-the-art gaming floor is equipped with over 1,700 slots and 66 table games including 14 poker tables. The establishment also offers retail sports betting via an all-new DraftKings Sportsbook which boasts 23 betting kiosks,
Enhancing Sports Wagering Amenities
As part of the agreement between the two parties, the Waterloo casino resort will incorporate Kambi’s sports betting technology, products, and services. General Manager of the casino, Lance Young, commented that the establishment is pleased to partner with the leading provider, utilize its world-class technology and deliver a better overall experience for patrons.
Mr. Lance continued by saying that the introduction of the Kambi brand and product to the casino’s retail sportsbook and gaming floor will create an even more compelling viewing and wagering vibe on game days. The provider’s sports betting solutions will further enhance the upstate casino’s extensive gaming floor, which features more than 1,000 square feet of LED video screens.
Meanwhile, the CEO and Co-Founder of the supplier, Kristian Nylén, stated that the firm is more than eager to partner with the commercial casino and have it as its latest on-property partner in NY. He added that Empire State gamblers are famous for being passionate sports betting fans and the company is now committed to delivering its world-class product to the leading casino.
Major Exposure on the Continent
As a major provider of sports betting technology, Kambi also operates in several North American markets, including the Canadian one. Back in September 2022, the company agreed to a deal with Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment. Via this partnership, the supplier launched its first-at-class on-property sports betting platform for MGE’s Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
The two casinos are among the leading gaming establishments in Ontario they integrated Kambi’s full suite of high-performance sports wagering technology and services. Thus, making them an even more exciting hotspot for sports fans and bettors in Canada’s most populous province. As per the agreement, over 36 kiosks will be introduced across the gaming operator’s two Niagara Falls properties.
Then in October 2022, the provider inked an agreement with Great Canadian Entertainment, allowing it to launch its sportsbook technology to the operator’s properties in Ontario. through the agreement, the provider supplied 10 of CGE’s land-based casinos in the province with tech. These casinos were the first ones in the province to offer retail sports wagering.
