More on Casino Rama in 2022
In April this year, Casino Rama managed to agree on a new and improved collective agreement with its unionized employees. The new compact will be in effect for the next three years, and it will award workers with a wage increase of 9.5% over the duration of the deal. However, in June 2022, some of the casino’s workers expressed their frustration with the property over the cancellation of a shuttle ride. The employer explained that its decision to suspend the shuttle service was due to the fact that ridership has drastically decreased over the last two years. According to reports, this move affect over 100 of its staff who relied on the service.
