It has been an exciting year for the global iGaming industry, as SBC had another world-class slate of conferences and exhibitions throughout the year. The company recently held its SBC Summit Latinoamérica which concluded its schedule for 2022 and has now provided more details about its upcoming betting and online gaming expos scheduled for 2023.
As this year comes to a close, the company hosted some very successful events throughout the whole year. One of the key events was its SBC Summit Barcelona which broke the firm’s group attendance records as over 6,000 senior industry executives visited the event. It took place in September and it was held at the Fira Barcelona Montjuïc venue.
What to Expect in 2023?
For its 2023 calendar, SBC intends to build on its recent success and host five premium events in some of the sector’s biggest hubs. This includes Malta, New Jersey, Toronto, Barcelona, and Miami. These events will bring plenty of opportunity for the industry, during which stakeholders will be able to interact with each other and exchange business ideas and contacts.
The first of its 2023 programme is the CasinoBeats Summit. It will be held again at the InterContinental in St Julian’s, Malta from March 21 through March 23, 2023. Next is the SBC Summit North America, which is scheduled to run from May 9 through May 11, 2022, and it will be taking place at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in New Jersey, U.S.
The third event is the Canadian Gaming Summit, which will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Center in Toronto from June 13 to June 15, 2023. Next is the SBC Summit Barcelo at the Fira Barcelona Montjuïc from September 19 to September 21, 2023. And again, the last one will be the SBC Summit Latinoamérica at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Miami, Florida from October 31 to November 2023.
In addition to that, the company also plans on hosting several industry awards shows to recognize the most innovative and prominent operators, suppliers, and affiliates. These include the CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards in Malta, the SBC Awards North America in New York City, the SBC Awards in Barcelona, and SBC Awards Latinoamérica in Miami.
Obtaining Rights
In March 2022, SBC announced that it has agreed to a deal to acquire the rights for the Canadian Gaming Summit from the Canadian Gaming Association and MediaEdge Communications. After the completion of the deal, the CGA remained an official and strategic partner of the conference and now works with SBC to ensure the further development of the local gaming sector.
Just in time for the 2022 Canadian Gaming Summit, leading geolocation technology corporation, Xpoint announced that it will be sponsoring the event. The company is a provider of geolocation security solutions and intelligent location-based marketing insights to the global sports betting and iGaming markets and its announcement arrived after the geolocation-focused firm debuted in the local online gaming market.
