This week the Lotto Max jackpot will grow even larger, as the provincial lotteries have informed that the CA$55 million jackpot has not been claimed once again. Also, only one of the four Maxmillion prizes was acquired. Now on Tuesday, participants will have a chance at an even greater main prize and more Maxmillion prizes.
The Lotto Max game is one that enjoys huge interest from lottery players, and it offers immense winning possibilities to its participants. Every year Canadians win hundred of millions of dollars, and they can participate in the draws the prizes two times a week with rounds on Tuesdays and Fridays. The grand prize can reach the life-changing CA$70 million.
No Winner Again
Unfortunately, for all Lotto Max players the CA$55 million jackpot has remained unclaimed during the Friday, September 17 draw. The main prize will now grow to over CA$60 million for the next draw on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Last Friday’s round saw one of the Maxmillion prizes go to a ticket holder from Ontario.
The Western Canadian Lottery Corporation reported last week that a ticket holder from Manitoba has won CA$20,000,000 from the Lotto Max game. Their ticket matched the winning numbers 1, 24, 26, 29, 30, 45, and 50 in the August 24 draw, but they have not yet contacted the corporation to claim their winnings. The ticket is located somewhere outside of Winnipeg.
Lotto 6/49 Winners Revealed
David Rutherford from Burlington is another lotto player who had a reason for celebration as he had won a guaranteed CA$1 million prize from the Lotto 6/49 game. His ticket was drawn as the winning one for the prize during the August 11 round. In addition to the CA$1,000,000 Mr. Rutherford has also won CA$2 from the Encore option.
Koshik Chand from Delta, British Columbia is the other winner of a guaranteed prize from the Lotto 6/49 game, as reported by the BCLC. Mr. Chand purchased his ticket at Shoppers Drug Mart at Nordel Crossing in Surrey, and he could not believe his luck as the scanner showed CA$1,000,000. With the winnings, he plans to travel to his home in Fiji, buy a new home for his family and donate a portion of it.
Edmonton Winner Announced
Previously, the Western Canada Lottery Corporation revealed the identity of one more Lotto Max millionaire. Andrew Weninger from Edmonton is now CA$15 million richer after winning the Lotto Max jackpot in the March 26 draw. The winner revealed that he was trying to get some sleep while his mother woke him up to tell him the tremendous news. With the money, he intends to travel around, buy a new car, and get one more puppy.
The province of Quebec has also most recently witnessed the making of a new lottery millionaire, as someone from the province has won the Lotto 6/49 jackpot worth over CA$11 million. Loto-Québec informed that the winner has not yet contacted the agency and urged all lotto players to carefully check their tickets. The winning numbers were 06, 08, 09, 12, 19, 26, and 43 as bonus.
