Provinces have reported that Tuesday’s Lotto Max jackpot has remained unclaimed. The CA$50 million prize will now transfer for the next draw, accumulating to a total of CA$55 million. However, the last draw determined that one of the two Maxmillion prizes will go to a single ticket holder residing in the Prairies.
Every week Canadians have two chances at the Lotto Max jackpot with one draw on Tuesday and one on Friday. The prizes in the game are very generous as the main prize can reach the stunning amount of CA$70,000,000. In addition to that, once the jackpot passes the CA$50 million mark, participants can also win a Maxmillion prize worth CA$1 million.
Still No Winner
Unfortunately for all Lotto Max players the CA$50 million jackpot at the Tuesday, September 14 draw has remained intact. The reported winning combination for the main prize is 17, 24, 27, 33, 38, 41 & 48. The Bonus number for the round was 39. Players can have another go at the jackpot this Friday when the prize will be even bigger in the amount of CA$55,000,000.
Despite no one claiming the jackpot, the lotteries have confirmed that one of the Maxmillion prizes out of the two available has been won. The winning ticket is located somewhere in the Prairies and he or she will now be CA$1,000,000 richer. The next draw on September 17, 2021, will now feature a total of four Maxmillion prizes.
Vault Breaker Jackpot Claimed
This week, the Western Canada Lottery Corporation informed of one more major lotto winning in the country. Mei Hong Wang from Saskatoon has won CA$1.2 million on a video lottery terminal while playing the “Vault Breaker” game. The jackpot for the game start at half a million Canadian dollars and it has reached CA$1.2 million when Ms. Wang started playing at Nokomis Pizza.
After arriving at a WCLC office to claim her win, the lucky winner stated that she was shocked to see all five Vault Breakers fall into place and it took her some time to realize the size of her win. With the winning, Ms. Wans plans to put some of the money into savings and invest some of them for the future.
Edmonton Winner Revealed
Previously, the Western Canada Lottery Corporation announced that Andrew Weninger from Edmonton is now CA$15 richer after winning the Lotto Max jackpot. His ticket was the lucky one during the March 26, 2021 draw and it was purchased at the Pleasantville Rexall Drug Store. The winner now plans to invest some of the prize, buy a new car, and travel around the world when it is safer to do so.
Group Effort
Not long ago the OLG revealed one more very interesting winning from the country as Ontario co-workers have won together a Maxmillion prize. The 13 colleagues will now split the pleasant prize of CA$1,000,000. Some of them are already making plans with the money to buy new cars travel abroad or simply paying their bill and redecorating their homes.
