The Lotto Max jackpot continues its last few weeks’ tendencies to accumulate more and more as on Friday the main prize has survived yet another draw. The jackpot was in the amount of approximately CA$31.8 millions and the lottery corporations from the country confirm that no tickets have successfully matched all winning numbers from the last draw.
Every year Canadians win hundreds of millions of dollars via the Lotto Max game. Lottery players have two opportunities to participate in the big prizes every week with draws on Tuesday and Friday. The jackpot can reach the mind-blowing amount of CA$70,000,000, and depending on the main prize, players can also win a Maxmillion prize worth CA$1,000,000.
Still No Winner
During the Friday, September 10 draw for the Lotto Max game the jackpot was estimated to be around CA$31.8 million. Unfortunately for all players of the game, the lotteries reported that no one was able to match all winning numbers which were 11, 28, 38, 40, 43, 45 & 48. The number 33 was drawn as the bonus one for the round.
The next draw for the game is scheduled for Tuesday, September 14, and the main prize will reach the impressive amount of CA$50,000,000. Players will now have the chance to win almost double the previous jackpot as they prepare for the new draw. The next round will also feature two Maxmillion prizes each worth CA$1,000,000.
Lotto 6/49 Grows Bigger Too
Lotto 6/49 is another quite popular draw-based lottery game in Canada, with draws on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The lotteries inform that the main prize of CA$11 million in the last draw has remained unclaimed. The winning combination was 15, 18, 31, 33, 34 41, and 45 was the Bonus numbers. The jackpot will rise to CA$14 million for the next round.
Despite no one winning the grand prize, two tickets from Ontario have matched five of the six winning numbers and the bonus. Both ticket holders will now win CA$122,530 each. In addition to that, a guaranteed CA$1 million prize in the Lotto 6/49 has been claimed by a lottery player from the province of Saskatchewan.
Mississauga Winner
Last week, the OLG announced that Stephan Zimmermann from Mississauga is a winner of a Maxmillion prize. He and one more ticket holder will share the CA$1 million prize. Mr. Zimmermann, who is a former trades worker who claimed his prize at an OLG office, said that he is now eyeing an earlier retirement. He is also planning to travel to eastern Canada in search of a new property with the prize.
Dreams Coming True
Not long ago, the Western Canada Lottery Corporation revealed that Andrew Weninger from Edmonton is the winner of the CA$15 million Lotto Max jackpot. His ticket was drawn as the winning one on March 26, 2021, and was purchased in the Pleasantville Rexall Drug Store. Now, he plans on investing a big portion of the prize, buy himself a new car, and travel the world.
