Lottery games have the potential to change someone’s life for the better in a matter of seconds. This has been the case for the Kirkland Lake resident Grover Adams, who has just claimed his major prize from the Lotto Max game. The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation reported that the 60-year-old lotto fan is the winner of the CA$15 million jackpot.
Mr. Adams joins the list of lottery millionaires as the fan-favorite games of Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Max have already generously awarded many Canadians this year. The Crown agency is responsible for all lottery dealings in the province of Ontario and every year millions of dollars are won by lotto fans not only from the province but from the whole country.

Fate has certainly smiled upon the 60-year-old Mr. Adams who has been lucky enough to be drawn as the winner of the Lotto Max jackpot. The draw from April 20, has awarded the Northern Ontario resident with the unique possibility to retire early thanks to the CA$15 million grand prize from the draw-based game.
After arriving at a Crown agency’s office to claim his hefty reward, the winner has shared more on how he found out and how he will spend the money. Mr. Adams stated that his heart started racing after scanning the ticket a few times just to make sure that the said amount of money was right.
Mr. Adams’ ticket numbers have matched all seven numbers in the April Lotto Max draw, thus rewarding him with the pleasant surprise of CA$15,000,000. He has purchased the ticket at Mac’s on Government Road in Kirkland Lake. Only a few days earlier the Crown agency announced yet another big winner from the lottery games. Raymond Rooke from Mississauga has been drawn as one of the winners of the CA$22.8 million Lotto 6/49 jackpot. The 59-year-old man will claim half of the jackpot thanks to the April 14 draw. The name of the other winner is still unknown, however, the ticket has been purchased somewhere in Scarborough.
And a day before the major Lotto 6/49 draw, on April 13 the Lotto Max draw has randomly selected two tickets as winners of the CA$30 million jackpot. The first ticket is from Burlington, Ontario, and the other ticket holder is located somewhere in Quebec. Both lotto players will share the grand prize with each grabbing CA$15 million.
