The latest information emerging from Ontario’s province is that a local citizen has just recently been drawn as the next Canadian mega-millionaire. Lottery games are a huge point of common interest between residents in the country due to its major winning potential and a great variety of offerings. Lottery corporations across Canada reward their players with hundreds of millions of dollars each year.
According to the province’s lottery and gaming regulator, the winning ticket was purchased in Sudbury, and the fortunate ticket holder was chosen by fate as the next lottery millionaire. The lucky player is the sole winner of the grand Lotto Max jackpot, which was drawn last Friday. This is the fourth time that a province’s resident has won the maximum jackpot.
Major Winnings
The Crown agency claims that the winner has purchased the ticket in Sudbury last week, and it was randomly selected as the sole-winner in Friday’s Lotto Max draw. The name of the winner is still not revealed, but he or she will be generously rewarded thanks to the immense proportion of the jackpot, which estimates to around CA$70,000,000. The draw for the next Lotto Max jackpot is the upcoming Tuesday and the prize is set to CA$24 million.
The Crown, also informs that there have been four Maxmillions winning tickets each worth CA$ 1 million. The four winners are also from Ontario’s province, one in Simcoe County, the next one being from Mississauga, and the last two respectively from North York and Woodbridge. Additionally, one Ajax resident has also won a Maxmillion prize worth of CA$500,000.

Unfortunately, the Crown corporation reports that there was no winner for the Lotto 6/49 jackpot after Saturday’s draw. Players should not give up hope since the jackpot will be up for grabs once again in a few days’ time on March 3, 2021. The upcoming draw will feature an even larger jackpot prize approximately worth CA$15 million.
The winning numbers for last week’s Lotto 6/49 draw were 11, 15, 16, 20, 46, and 49. Then there was the bonus number which was 17. But despite no winner for the grand jackpot, there were still rewards for players with the guaranteed prize of the draw won by an Ontario resident, which is estimated to be worth CA$1,000,000.
