This year’s WPT in Montreal will still occur despite players’ concerns due to unprecedented circumstances. The solution is very simple – it will be held entirely online starting from January 17 to February 1. The online “tour” will remain true to its nature in terms of prizes and will still offer a great variety of events.
Keeping with the WTP spirit there will be a CA$2,000,000 GTD Main Event with a CA$3,200 buy-in. In addition to the cash prizes, the WTP Main Event winner will be awarded a CA$15,000 seat to the following WTP Tournament of Champions, which is a great opportunity provided by the event sponsor – Baccarat Crystal.
Main Event 1B Meta Satellite
Starting at 3:30 pm, undoubtedly the most anticipated event for January 24 will be the Main Event 1B Meta Satellite with 50 CA$3,200 GTD seats, coming with buy-in of CA$300+20. On this day is also the WPT Montreal Main Event staggering amount of CA$2,000,000 GTD including buy-ins of CA$3000+200, and it will be held in the course of 3 days.
Players can enter the game at 7:05 p.m. The next event on the agenda for the enthusiasts is the Super High Roller event with CA$1,000,000 and CA$25,000+500 buy-in. All the players can tune in at 7:05 p.m. and participate in this two-day event. Next on January 24’s list, with a 9:05 p.m. start, is the High Roller Turbo event with CA$5000+200 buy-ins and CA$250,000 GTD. On Monday the program continues with day two of the WPT Montreal Main Event and similarly to Day 1, today’s Main Event also starts at 7:05 p.m.
Also, this day will bring the Mini Main Event 1A which is a two-day event with a GTD of a total CA$200,000 and CA$300+20 buy-ins. This event also starts at 7:05 p.m. and it is suitable for the lower-stake players. Meanwhile still at 7:05 p.m., we have the Micro Main Event 1A with CA$30,000 GTD and CA$30+3 buy-ins, and following its predecessor the Mini Main Event – the Micro Main Event will be a two-day thrill for its participants.
Main Event Final Table
January 26 is the last day of the WPT Montreal Main Event, so 7:05 p.m. is the last chance for players to compete with others for the huge prizes. Also, it is Day two of both Mini and Micro Main Events for the enthusiasts to enjoy. Later, at 10:05 p.m. is the 6-Max Turbo CA$25,000 event and CA$150+12 buy-ins, this is a shorter one-day event compared to the before-mentioned Main Events.
It is expected to be a quite eventful Wednesday for the gambling enthusiasts since there’s plenty of variety on this particular day. It is the WTP Montreal Main Final Table Event in which players can win up to CA$2,000,000 in cash in 7:05 p.m. Also, January 27 concludes the Final day of the Mini and Micro Main Events with CA$200,000 and CA$30,000 in prizes up for grabs, and both starting at 7:05 pm as well.
At the same time, players can enter both the Omaha CA$100,000 GTD and Mini Omaha with CA$20,000, with respectively CA$1000+50 and CA$100+9 entry fees.
