Gateway Casinos & Entertainment is ready for the next phase of its operation, as the Canadian provinces are beginning to reopen their businesses. The casino operator announced its plans to reopen its signature restaurants adjacent to its casino venues. Atlas Steak + Fish and Match Eatery & Public House venues have already welcomed their first guests in British Columbia.
Gaming operation overseen by the casino leader still needs lengthy preparation and safety measures implemented, but the more family-friendly offerings coming with these popular complexes have commenced their daily work. The last days of June were busy, as they saw the reopening of the premium restaurant areas at some of the most popular casino complexes across the province of British Columbia.
Dining Areas Reopen
The residents of Langley, Courtenay, and Campbell River were among the first individuals to welcome back premium restaurant service and delicious hearty meals. The casino complexes at those areas feature the signature Match Eatery & Public House family-friendly location. Langley was the area that also saw the recent reopening of its Atlas Steak + Fish offering. And the reopening continues.
Grand Villa Casino in Burnaby also recently saw the relaunch of Atlas Steak + Fish. Locals can now enjoy the premium dishes coming with the diverse menu this restaurant has up for grabs. It should be taken into account that all safety measures mandatory at the moment have been introduced to the premises of the dining venues. The last venue that launched operation made July 2 a special day for the Langley region.
It should also be taken into account that the casino operator is also looking forward to more reopening. Gateway Casinos revealed that the next batch of restaurant reopening will cover both Ontario and British Columbia. Upcoming weeks are expected to see the relaunch of The Point at Chances Signal Point in Williams Lake, as well as Barside Lounge & Grill at Chances Kamloops.
More Launches in Ontario, British Columbia
The casino leader also made it clear that the reopening of Match Eatery & Public House at Starlight Point Edward, along with the venue at Cascades Chatham are also projected to see their reopening in the upcoming weeks. The specific dates have not been released for the time being, but this is expected to happen very soon. Todd Pollock, VP, Food & Beverage at Gateway Casinos, expressed the peopleās excitement.
The gradual reopening of the restaurants is only the first step of the revival process taking place at Gateway Casinos. It will allow the casino operator to benefit from the revenue boost, while it also allows staff members to return to their place of work. The process itself is closely monitored by the government and provincial health authorities, to guarantee the safety of all parties involved in it.
The restaurants will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected on a frequent basis. An innovative approach will be unveiled, as the casino operator has implemented a virtual queue system. It will allow individuals to wait in their vehicles until their table is ready, in order to promote physical distancing.
