Seneca Nation of Indians gave its nod to the official launch of in-person casino gaming and tribal gaming enthusiasts were eager to see everything up for grabs after three months of hiatus. June 18 saw the official start of operation at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, paving the way for a riveting weekend of gaming and diverse entertainment offerings.
People interested in everything Seneca Nation of Indians has up for grabs when it comes to gaming now have the chance to explore their offerings in person. This happens for the first time in three months and it is safe to say that many casino patrons were eager to make their way to the gaming hotspot of Niagara Falls, New York.
New Rules
The casino resort launched operation at 10 a.m. on June 18 and all casino patrons should bear in mind that there are some essential changes that have been introduced to the way gaming is about to take place. All players making their way inside the venue will have to wear face masks for their own protection, as well as for the protection of their fellow casino enthusiasts.
Staff members will also be protected this way and they are expected to see a constant flow of customers day in and day out, so this is essential. The players who have forgotten their masks will be able to receive a complimentary one upon entering the casino hotspot. The entrance is also where the wellness checkpoint is located.
People should expect a temperature check before they enter the casino location. Casino patrons should also keep in mind that the venue is not going to allow smoking. This is a measure that will be in place at least for the first weeks of operation. Individuals wanting to smoke will have to go outside in the special smoking areas.
What’s Next?
Once New York State enters the next phase of the business reopening plan, smoking will once again be permitted inside. Players should also be wary that alcohol is also going to unavailable on the premises of the casino floor, as once again this phase of the plan does not include the serving of alcoholic beverages.
Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is going to work with new working hours and players should bear in mind that they are reduced. Between 10 a.m. and 2 a.m., they will get the chance to try the various casino offerings. Every day will provide them with the chance of winning big, but the number of slot machines in operation is going to be reduced.
Every third slot machine is about to be switched on, ultimately reducing the number of individuals that could enter the casino floor and expanding the distance between them. Both Class II and Class III locations are going to be affected by the reopening plans. June 25 will see Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino reopen. The last phase of the reopening would take place on July 2, as this is when the Seneca Allegany Resort and Casino in Salamanca is set to reopen.
