Breeders Crown returns for its 36th edition with its exciting racing offerings and betting potential drawing people of legal age. Woodbine Mohawk Park is projected to welcome Ontario’s harness racing enthusiasts ready to experience live racing with a sprinkle of thrill. Standardbred horses aged two and three are about to transform the racetrack with two riveting live races along with many exciting offerings available for the spectators.
Friday Greenlights Championships
This Friday is projected to see the first of two long-anticipated live events with post time 7 p.m. The first one would be the Two-Year-Old Championship featuring big names in the horse racing field. Hypnotic AM is about to run for the win in this race, joined by Ramona Hill. The latter is ready for a third win following the two at the Red Mile. The filly trotters would showcase their full potential on the racetrack.
Among the trotting colts, there are some strong performers with multiple successful starts. Amigo Volo is the favorite among them that would aim to become one of the seven finishers at the end of the day. As for the pacing colts, renowned horses to the likes of Capt Midnight and Cath the Fire are about to demonstrate everything they are capable of.
The excitement at Woodbine Mohawk Park would continue on Saturday, October 26 with a new batch of rivals racing for the win. Woodbine Mohawk Park Welcomes Race after 11 Years
This second evening would welcome Evident Beauty and When Dovescry ready to assert their dominance in the filly trot divisions. As for the trotting mares, big names such as Custom Cantab, Plunge Blue Chip, and renowned Hannelore Hanover are about to race until elimination. It could be recalled that Woodbine Mohawk Park greenlighted this event for the last time in 2008 and even then it was not entirely responsible for it. Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment in New Jersey hosted some of the events. This year’s Breeders Crown also comes with a charity challenge encouraging donations to several foundations. Four celebrities would popularize the initiative.
Captain Crunch, Gimpanzee, Warrawee Ubeaut, and Woodside Charm are the four horses that will have a percent of their earnings sent to a charity of their celebrity’s choice. Those are the Pinball Clemons Foundation, the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundations, as well as the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society.
