Chances Casino Chilliwack is about to go through a transformation that would make it even more appealing gaming location for locals and beyond. A rebranding is about to take place in the foreseeable future, turning the location into Elements Casino Chilliwack.
It would reflect the enhanced gaming opportunities that received approval a couple of weeks ago. It would see the addition of new gaming tables on the casino premises. When it comes to gaming opportunities, the more diverse they are, the better chances players have of making their way to the casino venue.
People want diversity and getting a taste of everything, as this makes gaming fun for them and increases their chances of winning big. For quite some time Chilliwack gamers have been looking forward to a gaming expansion on a local level adding more to the existing slot machines at Chances Chilliwack.
Elements Casino Chilliwack Comes Soon
This change appears to be closer than expected which also calls for a rebranding and a breath of fresh air. Chances Chilliwack would soon be known as Elements Casino Chilliwack, a rebranding that comes with the new offerings that are about to be introduced.
As many as six live-dealer table games are soon to make their way there and attract a larger crowd. Great Canadian Gaming Corporation announced that Chilliwack would be home of the seventh casino venue with the Elements brand, something exciting and new for locals and people from neighboring communities.
The news comes several weeks after the City Council gave its approval to the expansion, to the excitement of players. Shawn Duncan, regional general manager of Chances Chilliwack, said that this rebranding would reflect the transformation.
Being known as a gaming hall up until now, the location would continue operation as a well-rounded casino venue. The six gaming tables could see an increase in their number as time progresses, but for the time being this would be their initial number. They are about to bring games such as Blackjack, Texas Holdāem, and Four Card Poker.
Six Table Games Installed this Fall
This would diversify offerings, as up until now the venue featured about 300 slot machines, bingo offerings, as well as simulcast horse racing. The family-friendly element was secured by The Well Public House, welcoming people of all ages ready to have a delicious meal with their friends and loved ones.
Approval of this expansion was given by a 3-2 vote towards the end of August, meaning that locals would no longer be drawn towards Langley gaming offerings. Elements Casino Chilliwack would now seek more employees to be trained for gaming table operation, meaning that locals could file their applications in the upcoming weeks. Concerns have been expressed earlier this summer, as British Columbia has been shaken by money laundering scandals over the past years.
Opposition stated that table games could attract criminals bringing dirty cash to the area. Coun. Bud Mercer expressed money laundering concerns for Chances Chilliwack. While Kevin deBruyckere, representing British Columbia Lottery Corporationās Legal, Compliance, Security Division begged to differ. He stated that this is more likely to happen with a potential introduction of high roller gaming such as baccarat.
