This October is about to see major action at Woodbine Mohawk Park that is already up for grabs. Woodbine Entertainment and Libfield-Katz Breeding Partnership announced that October 4 is about to see a fundraiser for the Breeders Crown Charity Challenge.
Meanwhile, horse racing enthusiasts already have the chance to purchase the essential dining passes for the premium dining locations that would enhance the experience at the end of the month.
October is about to be a heated month for Woodbine Mohawk Park, essentially making Campbellville one of the hotspots near Toronto.
Everyone interested in harness racing would have the chance to experience live entertainment and betting possibilities that also have a more family-friendly side to them. The Breeders Crown comes with CA$7.9 million in purses, enough to make it an appealing opportunity for horse people in the area.

October 4 is scheduled to see the fundraiser for the Breeders Crown Charity Challenge.
It involves celebrities supporting a Canadian charity they feel passionate about. Some of those are Michael ‘Pinball’ Clemons, Kim MacDonald, Eddie Olczyk, and Dan Pleasac. As for the charities benefitting of this fundraiser and the challenge, those are Pinball Clemons Foundation, Breast Cancer Society of Canada, Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, and Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society.
What should be pointed out is that each of those would receive one percent of the respective horse’s earnings. This equates to a minimum of CA$5,000 per charity. Projections are that funds generated would be over CA$100,000, possibly setting a new record.
