The WSOP International Circuit at King’s Casino in Rozvadov is coming to its closing stage with the Main Event underway. With a prize pool of €1,000,000, Jan Timo Jobmann did waste no time to get involved in massive pots and conquer the leading position. Jobmann is to enter the final table of the Main Event with commanding advantage over the rest. Despite being an accomplished poker player, defeating the final table of the current Main Event will not be an easy task for Jobmann as he is to face some of the most fearsome poker heavyweights, striving to defend their reputation.
The Main Event started with 672 candidates for the title, but one by one the players left the poker race, paving the way for the champion. Day 3 of the event featured five and a half levels. By the time all levels were played, the field was whittled to only 8 players, giving a start to the official final table. The remaining players bagged and tagged their chips, retreating for a break. Jobmann was the player to bag the most chips, steamrolling into the final table of the event. He collected 4,055,000 in chips.
Pavel Stolar will enter the eight-handed play second in chips with 3,055,000. Hossein Ensan is set to enter the official final table third in chips, holding a stack of 3,280,000. It is interesting to note that Ensan won Season 12 of the European Poker Tour, which took place in Prague. Play is scheduled to continue today at the host venue King’s Casino and the remaining poker hopefuls will play down to a winner.
Each of the 8 finalists will leave the event with no less than €21,163 in prize money. Needless to say, all of them will target the lion’s share of €184,812 and the trophy. Apart from that, the champion will secure a place in the WSOP Circuit Championship.
Jobmann’s Poker Career Profile
The German poker pro Jan Timo Jobmann will be challenged by seasoned poker players, some of them boosting seven-figure bankrolls. However, it should be admitted that Jobmann is a young player, who is just at the beginning of his poker career. Prior to that, Jobmann had a warming-up, scooping a cash prize for his efforts in the €550 Monster Stack. He settled in 3rd place in the €420 Bounty Hunter Event. As for his latest participation in the WSOP Circuit International tournament, the player is ranked in 2nd place in the festival’s ranking list.
